Marijuana has the ability to reduce the pain caused from a wide range of illnesses and injuries. For example, in a study of over 500 HIV patients, 94% reported a decrease in their levels of muscle pain and 90% reported a reduction in nerve pain.

It has also proven helpful for many who wished to cut back on the amount of pain medication and opiates they consume.
